Northumberland Street in Liverpool is in the midst of a transformation. Over the past 12 months it has become a place that people of all ages flock to at all times of the day and night. The most recent addition, Ribee's Cafe, is another jewel in Liverpool's ever-growing crown. Nestled on the edge of Liverpool Plaza and, importantly, down the street from my office, Ribee's brings some new life and flavour to the bustling city centre. Like many of the wonderful small businesses that give Liverpool its unique charm, Ribee's is a family-run venture. Kanchan Gurung, Rita Gurung, Kunal Shrestha and Bibek Shrestha have pooled their talents and passion to launch this exciting new cafe, which is drawing in locals with its warm hospitality and rich coffee aromas. Although the official ribbon cutting is a few days away, Ribee's has already started serving the community, and impressing us as well. I had the pleasure of trying their cappuccinos and can safely say that they are destined to become a favourite of Liverpool's dedicated coffee lovers. I warmly welcome Ribee's to Liverpool.
