I share some wonderful news with the House. After many years of campaigning and several months of construction, the brand-new toilet and amenities block at Hoxton Park Reserve is complete and ready for use by the many people who call Liverpool Olympic Football Club their home. The new amenities block will more than triple the available toilets for Liverpool Olympic Football Club's growing membership, which includes more women, seniors, people with disabilities and others who have traditionally found it difficult to access local sporting facilities. All members would agree that getting more people into physical activity to benefit from the social connections that come from being part of a sporting club, especially in Western Sydney, is worth every penny of the $150,000 invested by this Labor Government. I thank and congratulate Liverpool Olympic Football Club president Charlie Demertzis, secretary Victoria Gauci, grants coordinator Damien Gauci and all the committee members for their advocacy on behalf of their club members and for their efforts to improve safety and accessibility in our community facilities.
