Freeman Catholic College in Bonnyrigg Heights has celebrated a great run of sporting success in recent weeks. Congratulations to the Inter Boys Futsal Squad for becoming the State Champions at the 2024 Football NSW Futsal Schools Competition! It was a superb run for the boys at Freeman, who blitzed through the entire competition undefeated. They beat Edmund Rice Wollongong in the Semi-Finals 4-0 and took out All Saints Grammar Belmore 6-2 in the final to become the undisputed champions. Special thanks to Mr Bolognesi who has ably coached the boys this season. Also enjoying success was Freeman's Inter Boys Soccer Team, who took out the 2024 Catholic Schools NSW Football Cup, officially doing the double and becoming the best Catholic School team in NSW. Freeman is renowned throughout South West Sydney for its sporting prowess, and I look forward for their continued success across multiple sports in the years to come.
